Low Voltage Taser

Frist of all disclaimer, this thing is not leathal and no one was hurt making this.
The circuitry of this project is quite simple, consisting of only a series circuit with 2x 1.5V AA batteries(3V total). I then used a step up pulse voltage generator similar to this one. The case was repurposed from a Japanese chocolate plastic packaging which was a certified childhood classic. I had to cut out one of the side walls with a Dremel to facilitate for the voltage generator and a power switch. I also drilled two holes 1.5cm apart at the end bottom of the casing for two metal screws to stick out and act as the actual tasing end. Other than that everything else fit snugly inside the way it was, without the chocolate of course.
A nice feature about the design was the safety switch. I did this by fitting a metal contact to the original lid where the chocolate would pour out, this came directly into contact with the batteries which means that the whole circuit would break(since all in series) if the lid at the bottom is not closed.

The taser itself doesn't do much damage, if anything the horrendous cracking sounds from the periodic electric arcing is probably more useful for scaring off bears or your siblings, whichever one you decide to use it on first :D
Overall very fun project, not very practical but seeing the whole thing work with the electric arc was very cool. One improvement that I thought of for future is that I could probably make the switch spring loaded with metal contacts. This way the pointy end could also be concealed when circuit is not active, making it more elegant and safer.
